Born into a humble family in Jalandhar, Dr Abha Majumdar today is the Director and Head of the Center for IVF and Human Reproduction at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, but she never knew a life in international medicine was in store for her. Here, speaking from Delhi, Dr. Abha shares with me, Mehar, the comedy of errors that was traveling from India to Libya to work there in 1981 and what advice she’d share with young people.
