Commodore Medioma Bhada an alumnus from the class of 1956 St Pauls High School, Belgaum and the 18th course of the National Defence Academy was commissioned in the Indian Navy in 1962 and retired on superannuation in 1994. A fighter pilot and flying instructor by profession He participated in the 1971 Indo Pak- Bangladesh Operations as a pilot in INAS 300 from INS Vikrant. He has commanded two Indian naval warships, INS Amini & INS Taragiri. He is a keen sportsman and is presently the President of the Western India Golf Association. From his home in Mumbai in conversation with me Uday his 25-year junior from school to regale about his exploits and escapades while bombing Chittagong in Bangladesh the erstwhile East Pakistan.
